The occupancy report of Maalik’s show on Tuesday was interesting. The morning show had only 6.84% viewers, the figure increased slightly in the afternoon and was 13.84%. By evening it reached 16.50% and the night show gave some relief to the occupancy when it reached 29.64%.
Despite the slow start of the film, the love of the audience and Rajkumar Rao’s strong acting is keeping it in the theatres. The film’s further collection will depend on how much interest the audience shows during the weekdays and whether the film will be able to pick up pace again on the weekend or not.
‘Maalik’ is a film that is in the news due to its unique story and Rajkumar Rao’s brilliant acting. Rajkumar Rao may be a little slow at the box office, but the content of the film is succeeding in keeping the audience engaged.
